Thinking this is just an ordinary firefly tour? Fear not, Embark on a journey with us to Membakut fireflies tour as Membakut is a district in Sabah that is known for its abundant firefly population.
Starting off the tour with hotel pick up from Kota Kinabalu City before heading to Membakut.
Upon arrival in Membakut, you will be served a welcome snack and coffee prepared with love to re-energize your body for the upcoming mangrove cruise. At 5:20 pm, head for the mangrove cruise where you would have the chance to see our famous proboscis monkey along with other wildlife animals! Accompany by the sunset view while on the cruise , it creates a relaxing ambience while immerse in the sunset view ahead (You may also take sunset photos on the cruise). A sunset photo session by the beach , the sun setting background is perfect for all kinds of photo themes. Going for a romantic theme beach photo? Candid photo theme? or an social media influencer photo? Go ahead!
Dinner is served at 6:40pm and will be a mixed of korean and local food. Two different cusine in one meal?! Totally unheard of if you asked me.
After dinner, you will be heading for the fireflies viewing tour and also the main highlight of this trip. At first you will be surrounded with darkness, but as you proceed through , the fireflies will start to gather and illuminating the dark space. Almost as if the stars have decide to pay you a visit from the sky. The boat will stop for a moment for you to take pictures or videos of the fireflies before continuing with the tour.
As you part ways with the fireflies, you will be transfer back to Kota Kinabalu city and to your respective hotels.

No advance payment is required, simply pay cash in Ringgit-Malaysia to tour guide. However, you still need pay in full for any cancellation made 1 day prior to tour date.
